Manor House Hotel
Hotel grounds were lovely. Booked mainly to use the gym but it was £20 extra and didn’t open till 8am (so not ideal if staying for business - but I should’ve checked prior). Bathrooms could do with a refresh.

Lumley Castle Hotel
Really didn't enjoy our stay. The room was dirty especially around the windows and in poor state of repair with multiple chips in the basin. Delta Hotels Durham Royal County
For a Marriott it was pretty poorly. Got an upgrade to a room with a name, but the sink was cracked, holes in the towels, terrible pillows
