"It's a beautiful property and the pet friendly room we stayed in on the main floor was just renovated. The shower has great water pressure and the bed was so comfortable. There was a big common room, called the Tea Room, where we ate breakfast and were able to work for a couple of hours. It was just a short walk to the water and all the restaurants. "Very disappointed, the layout of the hotel was boring, not relaxing, over priced, food was good but way too expensive, the serving staff were great, had to wait for over 1 hour, after 3 phone calls for a hairdryer, the resort does not overlook the ocean at all, the grounds were clean but not impressive at all. "Unfortunately, this did not qualify as a 5 star accommodation. It is a gorgeous , older home with beautiful gardens but amenities and support from staff was disappointing. Our room , quite “cozy” was lacking in supplies like tissues, shower cap, water bottles, extra towels, and it was dark with lights needing replacement. This could be a 5 star accommodation with more attention to detail and more staff present in site. Breakfast should def be included and not an extra charge!"
