"We came on a work trip for our client with a disability to see the Cubs game. We booked two rooms, asked for adjoining at booking, called ahead, and at check in and still did not receive adjoining rooms. Hotel states that they are wheel chair accessible however the ramp down to the elevator is very steep and downhill. The elevator barely fit the wheelchair and had to be picked up to push it in the elevator. Also beds are extremely low to the ground in the accessible rooms. The doorways are not wide either. Valet did not understand how to take the parking brake off of our van to move it and only gave me 5-10 minutes to come down to the lobby to move the van and or explain how, While I have a wheelchair bound client that needed my full attention to get settled into the room. Just frustrating overall, staff at front desk were very friendly and helpful when we arrived but valet could use some patience and consideration for others especially ones with a disability. Great stay if your not looking for disability accommodations!"

"Stayed one night in a junior suite at Hilton Garden Inn North Shore and had one of the worst nights of sleep in a long time. The bed was extremely firm, and the pillows were completely worn out with little to no support. The room’s air conditioner made things worse. It was loud and oddly placed, with the vent right next to the bed blowing directly on me all night. The bar experience didn’t help either. My martini was poorly made, and the bartender didn’t seem to know how to prepare a Cosmopolitan, which is a pretty standard cocktail. The room layout was also strange and not very functional. Overall, the hotel feels very worn. The carpet in the room was dirty, and the common areas showed visible signs of neglect. This property is clearly in need of a refresh. Would not stay again."

"Let say that I would never come back at least it's the last place available in Chicago. Breakfast was disappointing. Pros: I guess price and location ."

"the room was adequate and the AC worked great. there were little stains on the bathroom door and one on the blanket but otherwise great. i wish the bedside lamps werent blue light but that’s no biggie."

"The staff was great, the facility fine, just a couple of minor things. The toilet paper holder was quite inconveniently placed, and there was plenty of hot water, but the temperature kept changing. The doors and stairwells are a bit weird. For some reason, the door for the stairwell to the second floor didn't unlock with the card key for the second floor room, but the door to the first floor did. All pretty minor things. We didn't visit the bar or restaurant so I can't speak to those."
