We loved the age of the building built in the 140O’s with lots of character and history. Great dining options, outside seating area for the pub that is quiet and out of the way. Rooms were very lovely, well stocked and cleaned daily. Ty, Wilbur and Ade were keen to recommend Beers and Ciders as well as places to see in the area. The whole team were great and we had a wonderful stay for 4 nights.Well done White Hart Inn
Location: Hotel is sited close to the Cathedral and the heart of the city. The only major drawback for some might be the lack of a car park although this did not affect me as I arrived by bus with a bus stop just a few yards away from the hotel.
Room: My room although a little dark was well equipped and very quiet. The bathroom has rather dated with a deep bath and a shower that had to be hand held with no shower screen or curtain. Overall the room was very comfortable and I certainly had a good night’s sleep.
Food/Drink: There is the offer of a very basic and limited continental breakfast or a good range of cooked breakfasts if you prefer. The hotel has an excellent range of craft beers and serves a range of evening meals.
Staff: Very welcoming and helpful.
Overall: If Wells is your destination I would certainly recommend staying here.
Age of building does is not so good for disabled traveller.
Staff gave me excellent advise about parking, loved the quirkiness of the building and where it is situated.
Nice pub, good beer, small room upstairs. Good value for money, but room was basic and poor soundproofing tbh. Would still book again though due to good value
One night stay. We arrived an hour early but not a problem. Clean room. Bit dated but tidy and good value for money. Great local beers in the bar and a lovely small city. Breakfast was great. Would stay again

Comfortable weekend stay.
Comfortable stay in this small pub/hotel. The staff were very friendly, and the room was good, with a comfortable bed. The en suite bathroom was clean if a little tired looking but had all amenities one would want.
The breakfast was great but the dining room was rather plain. It was lively in the evening and had great beer.
The staff were very friendly and helpful especially at check in ofering to carry bags.
We ate at the hotel as well with mixed results. The bedroom was large, clean, as was the bathroom. Some silly bits wrong, the kettle just reached the socket making it slightly unsafe. Had to put hot mugs on a new chest which wasnt ideal but all in all excellent stay, fab breakfast
