"The ocean view was very nice. Our room was one of the best and very large, it accommodated 4 people. Everything was very nice we arrived in the low season yet we enjoyed our time. The staff were splendid. We ate all our meals at the hotel restaurant because it tasted so good and the staff were so helpful and friendly."

However, the grounds and overall maintenance do not reflect the level expected from a Relais & Châteaux or Michelin Key property. There were dry leaves and weeds throughout the territory, and several trees appeared infested or dying. "Our stay in the garden villa was really great. It was clean and spacious with a semi outdoor bathroom. The pool area was straight in front of the ocean so you could watch the waves from your sunbed. Surf board hire was cheap with a large range of boards. Drinks were cheap and food yummy."

"The stay here was great. Host very gracious. There are two separate bedrooms with double beds, a kitchen with a gas burner, refrigerator,dishes and pans, small dining room, patio with a day bed, washing machine. Bedrooms have a/c. Other rooms with ceiling fans. WiFi worked well. Host provided laundry detergent, shampoo, sun screen and mosquito repellent. He also provided us with some great meals. "Good location on the beach, and very good breakfasts, but everything in the hotel priced in US$ and ridiculously over priced eg spa treatments 4x the price of a v good national chain very close to the hotel. Food and drink at hotel v v expensive, and swimming pool no good for actually swimming in. Also no where in room or balcony to hang wet swimming stuff. I wouldn't stay here again - would save my money and go elsewhere"
