One nice day in Weimar
One nice day in Weimar. Nice hotel located directly in th ecity center. Good breakfast buffet.
The room was spotless, the staff was helpful and nice! They spoke both English & German perfectly. The hotel was just beautiful filled with bouquets of fresh flowers & had an air of old time elegance with modern amenities. Highly recommend this place for its location in the city, great atmosphere, cozy bar with an excellent bartender & the sauna. Win-win!
Wonderful breakfast, Service in all areas very friendly and helpful, Only request for the rooms would be to make some updates to charge cell phones. Maybe night lamps with usb and usb-c outlets.
The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are perfectly equipped and clean, the location in the center of town is close to everything Weimar has to offer. A gem of a town that you will fall in love with everyday more!
Very nice stay, great location, nice breakfast, kind staff. Beds are a bit hard after my taste and breakfast in weekend could be for longer than 10 o clock.
Very nice staff.
The y are friendly and professional at the same time.
The rooms are always cleaned.
The breakfast is so nice. You can find almost everything.
Air conditioning is working good!
Excellent location, city centre and ither points of interest walkable. Very clean. Comfy beds. Spacious room. Very friendly barman. Easy parking at the back of the hotel or in parkhaus hauptpost (25 eur per day) as car can only stay for 2 hours parked on the street for (ca. 4 euros).
Was the nicest hotel I ever stayed in Europe. And have travelled extensively over the last 25 years.
The hotel room was large with great features like a mini kitchen, pants press, coffee maker, shower robe, slippers to name a few. Breakfast was amazing with multiple selections. Also the location was great, 20 min walk from the train station and right across the street from the center of town.

Great hotel for great town stay.
Fantastic hotel and very best position for doing all that Weimar has- all the buses pull up in the tree-lined street (Goethe Strasse), could walk from station but just 2 easy bus stops. Restaurant meals elegant and good, staff very helpful and friendly, room elegant and large, cooking facilities with utensils on request, we didn’t end up using but all delivered on request. Spotless and serviced daily. Access to town sights, bars, restaurants etc just minutes stroll and utterly picturesque. Town full of serious museums and historical houses/places with amply, expert, English commentaries and guides. A civic education but also beautiful park by the small river. Hotel is excellent choice.
The hotel was very good and I had a very good stay. I arrived very late in the night but I let the receuiption know in advance and they said it would be no problem. Indeed it was very easy and I didn't have any issues. The room was clean and it was a very good size with a desk to work at. I would certainly stay here again in the future if I visit Weimar.
TL;DR: rooms are dated but very comfortable, breakfast is incredible, location is great for exploring Weimar.
Now the full version: check-in was easy and fast, staff was very friendly. We were amused that the hotel doesn’t use keycards but actual keys still. That in fact resonates with the room decor and overall aesthetic: lots of dark wood and carpet with gold details, giving it a dated feel. It isn’t, however, a bad room at all. Size was more than perfect for my husband and I, and the room was fully equipped with all the necessary amenities, including slippers and bathrobes. Shower was on the okay side but the bathroom is definitely spacious. Be aware that at least in our case the double bed was actually two beds pushed together, but they were very comfortable nonetheless. The breakfast buffet was a hands-down winner, though, with ample variety and fresh ingredients. You can tell the hotel and the staff put a lot of effort into all the details, such as the lovely cards with various quotes that you could find in your room or on your breakfast table. We did use the parking and valet service for an additional fee and th parking is conveniently located behind the building. Finally, location-wise this hotel is fantastic. We got to explore all the sights and the Christmas market on foot. I would definitely recommend the stay.
Great location for exploring Weimar’s key sights, and right by a bus hub for buses to the station or other places (such as Buchenwald).
We arrived very early but they had our room ready and were happy for us to access it as soon as we arrived. Room was a good size and comfortable.
