"If you can look past the area that the 'George Hotel' is in then you have a beautiful old building with a very interesting history behind it. Yes the property could do with some investment and renovation, but the building inside was clean and the rooms were clean. The staff were all very friendly. "One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. The bar food and breakfast were both very nice and the bar prices are very reasonable compared to some other hotel brands. We stayed in a junior suite which was very nice indeed. The decor is very modern and appealing and the conditions room is a little gem too. My plans now are to return to play some golf here some time soon. Special mention to the member of staff who went the extra mile by escorting us to our room. "
