"Breakfast was disappointing. A muffin and some French toast with sweet sauce. Property was great. Beautiful place and rooms were very nice"

"Check-in time is at 4:00 pm but apparently means absolutely nothing. Our room was not ready at the check-in time. We waited 20 minutes, checked with the front desk a 2nd time, and the room still was not ready and was told that “hopefully we’ll get an update soon.” We requested that they call us when the room does become ready. In the meantime, we decided to walk the path around the lake, which took about 1.5 hours, expecting to receive a call before getting back. Upon arriving back to the hotel...

"We'll be back soon!!"

"Courteous staff and good location."

"We had a great stay after a 12-hour drive. The property was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge after a long day on the road!"

"Great stay for a trip with my friends and I. The only hotel with rooms that had 3 beds which is what accommodated our needs. Hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Check out the Oconaluftee Islands Park across the street if you get a chance. The bamboo forest is so pretty. I’d definitely stay here again."

"We enjoyed our stay. Room rates were reasonable and staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was top notch. No complaints. We'll stay here again."
