Great to have onsite decent gym with studio. Pool and spa. Restaurant had live music sat and sun nights while i was there. Was packed of locals and guests. Breakfast was tasty. Parking is only a short walk away. I was in the new area of the hotel which was a bit of an internal maze to get to (few stairs - there are lifts). But room overlooked river and bed was comfortable. Didn’t get any noise from the gym considering it was close to room. Enjoyed my stay.

The hotel seem overwhelmed by having guests. Our bathroom was shabby with a cracked sink and broken fittings. The breakfast was good but logistics were chaotic. The swimming pool was run down. The sauna and steam room were dingy and both closed for maintenance shortly after I arrived in the middle of the day.

The room (143) was compact but everything I needed was there. The bed was super soft and comfortable with pillows the same. Tea and coffee making facilities were great. The room was beautifully clean and towels were soft and fluffy. At breakfast the staff were super attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them they worked efficiently diligently and with a great smile. I enjoyed three wonderful breakfasts and have to say I did over indulge because it was so nice. The pièce de résistance was the swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. I enjoyed using all of these each day before breakfast it was a great way to start the day. I will certainly recommend Treacys to my friends and look forward to staying again with you soon.

Make sure you State ahead of your reservation that you want a room with Air Conditioning!! Other than that the hotel is good. Location is great. Yo are next to the River. Beautiful Bridges, Catedrals, Old Government Buildings. Piza placeis almost next door. Burger King and McDonalds are not that far away. What a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, and the decor made everything look stylish but not overly fancy. I was happy and relaxed the entire time.

Check in fine lady helpful. However, My room was miles away from reception, like few weeks ago i was allocated room on first floor overlooking the water. I hate the unwieldy nature of the property which is not user friendly. Moreover, one luft was our of order so I had to climb stairs since so many tourists were checking in St the same time, snd walk through those corridors, I met people who were lost trying to make their way around the building.

Staff in this hotel are very helpful. Room are clean and offer excellent value for money. Breakfast had all types of milk available which I wasn’t expecting but they had it all types (soya, almond) for lactose intolerant guests. Location is ideal as well not far from train station or town centre.

AC broke on the first hour there. Asked for a different room and was full and told to check tomorrow. Called five times to get the AC fixed and was told each time it would be. The next day I was told they would try fixing it again instead of moving me. Supposedly tried calling me later in the night for a switch. I tried calling reception twice on separate times with no answer. Checked out finally. Spent two days sweltering. Worst experience in my 5 days around Ireland so far.

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. The hotel is noticeably dated and in need of renovation. While the staff was pleasant, the room itself was not as clean as it should have been. The carpet was stained, had an unpleasant odor, and gave the room an overall unclean feel. The furnishings and décor also appeared worn and overdue for updating. With some investment in renovations and improved housekeeping standards, this property could be much more enjoyable. At its current condition, it did not provide the level of comfort we were expecting.
