"This lovely little pub/hotel punches well above its weight in terms of quality and value. Very engaging staff team providing a comfortable stay, nothing too much trouble. Restaurant food was superb and so much better than the homogeneous chain hotel fare. Convenient for stroll into town and a few metres from the racecourse/parkrun. "

"Super overnight stay, our hostess was extremely welcoming and friendly.
The property is situated in the countryside very quiet how we like it.
There are a few pubs five to ten minutes away that serve excellent food. "

"Pictures do not do this gem of a place justice. Check in was a breeze, the pub is quirky, but the accommodation was fantastic, quiet, comfortable and clean....all wrapped up in a 300 year old stone building. Such a beautiful spot, probably our fave and would love to return."

"Great little traditional village inn B&B
Only small issue was they only have Chinese food available for evening meals although the Chinese was excellent if you are staying more than two nights its a bit repetitive there are no other options in the village for food so you need to travel to neighbouring villages."
