"Bertrams is a lovely place to stay in Warkworth. The rooms are very comfortable with everything you need. The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in a dog friendly room which was at the front facing the road. The room was really hot due to the great weather but we were unable to have the window open during the night because of the noise from the busy road. "Loved this hotel and its location. Stayed in the garden room which was great with a dog. Right behind the hotel were fields and a river where we enjoyed lovely walks with our dog. The owner, George, and staff were very helpful. We ate in the pub because of the dog which sometimes was noisy but a minor thing overall. Would definitely stay again. Cragside was very close well worth a visit. "

"The property is an 18th century coach house so don’t expect brand new anything, that being said the place is full of character, but the most important part of this inn are the excellent staff, mostly Maureen (Mo) and Gracie. They were superbly professional yet warm and welcoming and made our 2 day stay a pleasure. The food was excellent (well done Becca) with a great choice. The room was spotless and clean as was the bathroom, would definitely go back and probably will. Well done all."
