Wanted location that was midway and walkable for all the major spots- GG park to pier 39, Chinatown, Ferry Building, etc. Star Motel blew us away with the upgraded rooms, ample FREE parking spots, location, and flexibility for our check-out needs. 100% would recd to friends and stay again. We were in room 208- corner upstairs room- and loved it. Mini fridge, AC, new showers, sky light, and more. Loved our stay!"
"They had all our amenities and wants covered, free street parking on the weekends (3 hours max during the day on weekdays), and with the wonderful buffet breakfast and happy hour open bar/ food it was really a good deal. Room service was available 24/7 and was a great price. Best stay ever for us in the city."

"We’ve stayed at the Hotel Majestic several times and always enjoy our visits. The hotel is elegant, clean, and the retro charm creates such a unique and welcoming atmosphere. We especially love the coffee maker in the lobby—hot chocolate cartridges are such a fun touch!

It would be really helpful to have bedside lamps with built-in outlets or USB ports. You could still keep the vintage look by adding a retro-style lampshade. I ended up charging...
