Lovely property right in the heart of town. Great amenities with ease of parking and a wonderful valley view from the porch.
The fully functional kitchen and cooking utensils were appreciated as we dined in on the Sunday night.
Perfectly located for exploring Walhalla by foot with hiking trails, shops and the local pub all close by.
As a couple, the property was spacious with plenty of period charm.
We enjoyed a 2 night stay at Mill House. Luv the fireplace and warm touches with 3 types of coffee supplied. Bed was comfortable with nice firm pillows. Shower has nice hot water. Enjoyed daily visits from king parrots in the. morning. Stunning views from the verandah. Fiona was most helpful. Could benefit with a dishwasher 😋
I can honestly say this is most wonderful cottage i have ever stayed in . So cosy, so relaxing and I noticed how they really thought about the little things that would make your stay more comfortable . Will definitely be visiting again and hopefully soon .
Lovely tranquil cottage overlooking historic township. Perfect for a short getaway.

Mill House a wonderful surprise
A fantastic location with great views. ne of the few remaining original cottages built back in the late 1880's
If you are thinking of visiting and staying in Walhalla, think Mill House
We had a wonderful stay in the cosiest, prettiest guest house. Stunning views sitting on the veranda over looking Walhalla. Everything one could possibly need or want & in a superb setting. Thanks Richard and Janette for a lovely stay and all your tips and the view. We’ll be back. Thanks Bob and Chris Gray
Beautiful little cottage in an amazing location. Walhalla is an old gold mining town of 20 residents but very popular in summer and winter. We had always said we would have a weekend there in Winter so we could have an open fire and relax and thats exactly what we did. The Mill House is a very cute cottage with 2 bedrooms, spacious lounge and little kitchen which is well stocked with tea, coffee etc. We took our own food as there is really only The Wally pub for dinner and we preferred to eat when we felt like eating. Out little kitchen had a full oven, cooktop and microwave, tea towels etc were also provided. My only gripe was that some of the cutlery and crockery had been put back in the drawers/cupboards with stains and unclean and I had to wash everything we used prior to eating off them. This was a bit annoying as there seemed to be little messages around the cottage referring to leaving everything clean and respecting their cottage when we left or would be charged an extra cleaning fee and even makeup removal wipes to ensure the bedding wasnt stained with makeup. I dont have a problem with respecting other peoples property but do expect clean eating utensils and not drawers full of crumbs and greasy glasses. Have already recommended this place to others so havent been completely put off by this but feel a little bit of extra care on their behalf would make this place perfect!
