"A family owned and operated facility. It was a bit dated but very functional. Great views of the lake. The thing that was most inconvenient was that it was located on the side of the highway, not in a town. So there were no shops or restaurants closer than Baddeck, which was 6 miles away."

"The room was dirty, stained/dirty sheets, floor unswept, not washed, bathroom tub surround dirty. Windows to the view were dirty. Hotel was not as pictured in the advertisement. Furniture is outdated and paint is chipping off. Tv came on but no cable or apps worked, nothing to watch. We were given a second room after complaining about the first one. The second one was better, but the sheets were still very old and the floor need to washing. Staff were nice and helpful, great view"

The advertised lake view out of the back entry door is blocked by the owner’s expansion into large tent units. Staying here was okay but humbling."

We went at 9:30 and there was barely anything left, and on top of that the fruit platter had moldy strawberries and pineapple on it. I’m sorry but if I’m paying for a buffet, regardless of what time I go if it is still open it should be fully stocked. I...
