Great Hotel but Accessing Reception was a Problem

When we were there (June 2025) reception opened at 1600 and was off-site. You had to phone a number to get a key safe code to obtain your room key. When phoning, you hear a recorded message in German. Sadly, we could not understand the message so had to rely on the restaurant staff (who were on site) to help us connect to reception. German speakers would have no problem but non-Germans may have a problem. Another issue we had is that the hotel states it has an EV charging point - it does not! However, there is an ultra fast charger about 500m away next to Aldi. So, if you're hoping to charge overnight whilst sleeping, it's not possible. Once we obtained access all was well. The staff were great, the room was clean and the bathroom was spotless. There is a very good restaurant within the hotel building and the food is excellent. In the morning, breakfast offerings include continental and cooked. Again, excellent quality. All in all, we found this to be a very nice hotel with very helpful staff (once we'd battled the language barrier to actually get in!)

Excellent hotel, great service, good size room, good bed, good restaurant and excellent breakfast. Great area for hiking and biking. Wifi is bad at the far ends of the hotel.

nicht zu empfehlen

Über Service kann ich nichts sagen, bei später Ankunft war alles verwaist. Das Zimmer war eiskalt (Januar!), es gab nur eine dünne Bettdecke, die nicht wärmte. Gemütlich war die durchfrorene Nacht damit nicht. Hotel ist einfach, bevorzugt von Montagearbeitern, deren Tag ab 6 Uhr morgens lautstark beginnt.

Hotel place au centre du village. Hôtel avec un pdj. Confort normal. Propreté normale ( un peu de poussière mais rien de grave.) Le check in : il fallait un code pour ouvrir une boîte ( bien que les horaires d’ouverture ouvert). Je n ai pas de téléphone à l étranger mais heuresment j étais accompagné et ils ont pu donner instructions au téléphone.

Picobello sauber

Das Hotel hat ein sehr schönes Ambiente, alles war picobello sauber. Wir hatten nur zwei Punkte zu bemängeln: die Kopfkissen und dass die (sehr schöne Regen-) Dusche nur einen Vorhang hatte. Wir kommen aber gerne wieder!

Super tolles Hotel . Ein ganz toller Empfang eine sehr tolle Serviceorientierte Dame. Hat man sehr selten ich durfte mein Zimmer am Sonntag auch länger nutzen als ich hätte dürfen. Hierfür gebe ich dem Hotel eine glatte 1. Alles Frühstück. Ich wünsche dem Hotel bessere Zeiten und dass der normale Alltag wieder einkehrt.

Ein sehr ruhiges Hotel. Noch sehr gutes Bett, daher kann man sehr gut ausschlafen. Man kann vor dem Hotel zwischen 16:00 und 08:00 kostenlos parken. Weitere Parkplätze sind im Hiterhof vorhanden, aber nicht all zu viele. Wer zuerst kommt, bekommt vielleicht einen. Frühstück ausreichend. Keine Wünsche bleiben offen. Rühei mit Speck und Kaffee bekommt man satt. :-).

A really clean and comfortable hotel. Friendly staff, but wanted to know if we were eating there as soon as we walked through the door. Managed to put him off until we'd off loaded our bags and when agreed (pouring with rain, so made sense) - and asked for 7.30, he said 7, when I said 7.30 again, he really wanted 7, so we agreed to that. The food was plentiful, but the schnitzel was very lacklustre, the coating easily separating from the meat, and I suspect had gone straight from freezer to frier to plate. Chips came pre-seasoned and were salty. The beer was bogs standard lager and when I asked for the second if there were others he was again firm - this is from 'this country'. It may have been, but there are better German beers, which I'd rather hoped he had.

Zentral gelegen in kleinem Ort

Da Hotel ist preiswert und o.k.. Habe mit dem Essen Pech gehabt, mir wurde aber sofort etwas anderes angeboten oder das erste Gericht war gratis. Freundliches Personal, leckeres Bier und ein sehr guter Marillenschnaps in geheiztem Glas, excellent.

Zentral gelegenes Hotel mit bes. Charme

Wir hatten für 2 Übernachtungen ein Doppelzimmer gebucht. Allerdings konnten wir erst nach 16 Uhr einchecken, da die Rezeption nicht besetzt war. Begründung: Wir sind nur ein kleines Hotel. Danach lief alles andere ohne jedwelche Probleme. Frühstücksbuffet und Halbpension waren mehr als großzügig und ordentlich angerichtet.
