Really nice boutique hotel. We loved that it used to be a farm and it was full of so many sweet touches that made it unique. Loved the view of the valley from the property. Free parking was a bonus since we had the rental car, and we enjoyed the breakfast. This stay stands out from our trip because it was such a unique place. Highly recommended. Also we are birdwatchers and the surrounding gardens gave us an opportunity to add some species to our life lists!

If you have a stopover in Voss at any point, Store Ringheim is the place to stay. Even though we only spent one night on our 10 day trip, this was by far our favorite accommodation. We got in at Voss Station and heard it was quite a hike to get up, so we reached out and they had someone pick us up and drop us back off in the shuttle with our luggage - so easy and convenient. We stayed in a standard double and the room was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we could have needed. the best part was how quiet it was and of course the restaurant. everything is freshly made or locally sourced and was well worth a dinner on the property, plus breakfast the next day. We loved every minute and would recommend to anyone!!

Our family stayed in the family suite for a summer trip to Voss on a stopover from the Norway in a Nutshell route. The family who owns the historic farm property is so helpful and nice. The property and room were beautiful. The highlight was the farm-to-table organic dinner and breakfast. Delicious! I would 100% recommend to anyone to stay here.

Unique B&B-like property

This is a unique property! A bit 'out of the way' but is serene and with great views because of it. Still, it is not far at all from the centre of the small town. It is sort of a converted farm with some rooms in each of three buildings one of which has reception and the restaurant. At first approach one might think, oh my, what have I booked! Is this some old run down property? But then when you see what it really is one might think the opposite - that it is like some very high end lodge. The truth, from my perspective, is somewhere in the middle. Our room was very large with some period features and modern bathroom. TV and Wifi worked fine, bed was comfortable. The negative about the room was it didn't feel cosy. Need more rugs perhaps. I was disappointed we were provided with only a bath towel and hand towel per person, that was all for the towels. And there was no bath mat, so when you get out of the shower you stand on the cold tile floor. We had dinner at the restaurant which was upscale and very good. The included buffet breakfast was there too which could have been improved with some better coffee and fresher eggs. The front desk does close at night, so it's more like a B&B in that if you need something you'd have to ring up the owner. Speaking of whom, the gentleman I assume is the owner was very pleasant and I'm sure if I mentioned my towel issue to him he would have taken care of it. He did give us some useful travel advice. Was a good choice!

Koselig gårdshotell

Koselig gårdshotell med nyoppussede rom. Stort rom med sittehjørne. Hyggelig restaurant med god mat (men litt under forvented kvalitet. Tørr sjokoladefondant. Lite smak av syltede grønnsaker. Seig mørbrad). Gode porsjoner. Frokost imponerte ikke (tørrstekt eggerøre som var skilt, tørt brød, kun en type melk, ikke så mye lokale spesialiteter som forventet). Servitørene var ikke av fagnivå en kunne forvente på et hotell i denne prisklassen (ikke utdannet innen restaurantfaget, kun sommerjobb). Litt rot i kommunikasjonen mellom restaurant og hotell. Rent og pent rom. Litt lytt ut til gangen og de andre rommene. God seng. God belysning/mørklegging. Nydelige baderomsartikler fra l’Occitane, men ingen hylle i dusjen (må ha alle såper på gulvet). God dusj. God parkering. Gode lenestoler på rommet. Ikke så mye utsikt som forventet fra rommene i redskapshuset.

Store Ringheim โรงแรมเป็นเหมือนบ้านหลายๆหลัง รีเซฟชั่นอยู่ที่เดียวกับบาร์และห้องอาหาร เป็นโรงแรมที่ไม่เหมือนโรงแรม เหมือนเอาบ้านพักหลายๆหลังมาทำเป็นโรงแรมก็น่ารักดี ห้องที่เราอยู่เป็นบ้าน 1 หลังมี 3 ชั้น เราอยู่ชั้นสองซึ่งมี 2 ห้อง ข้างล่าง 3 ห้อง และชั้นสามไม่แน่ใจว่ากี่ห้อง ห้องนอนและห้องน้ำค่อนข้างใหญ่ แต่ถ้าคนตัวสูงมากจะค่อนข้างอึดอัดเพราะเพดานเตี้ย ที่นี่มีอุปกรณ์ในห้องน้ำให้ครบ ชอบมาก มีกาน้ำร้อนให้ด้วย ที่ชอบที่สุดคือที่นอน เพราะไม่นิ่มเกินไป นอนสบายกว่าทุกๆที่ วิวที่พักสวยมาก ห้องพักค่อนข้างสะอาด เสียดาย อาหารเช้ามีให้เลือกน้อยและไม่มีอะไรพิเศษเลยทั้งๆที่เป็น Hotel&restaurant ทำให้พลาดจากห้าคะแนนเต็มไป

Et meget hyggelig familiedrevet lite hotell, med frokostservering i drivhuset i strålende solskinn. Bare synd at de ikke serverte middag denne dagen, men de anbefalt oss å spise på Park hvor de har en unik vinkjeller,svært fornøyd med oppholdet.
