This is a very old hotel that is a real pleasure to stay at in every way and the kitchen continues to exceed hopes and expectations for all meals. I have stayed there off and on for almost 50 years.

Wir hatten Zimmer 73. Die Elektrische Anlage war ohne Einweisung nicht wie ich es mir vorstellte. In der Toilette ging das Licht plötzlich aus, in der Dusche war es nicht auszuschalten? Aber das sind Dinge die für Überraschung sorgten. Wirklich gestört hatte mich nur der Kanaldeckel am Toreingang. Ein Frühstück mit Kanalgeruch ist nicht angenehm. Wir hatten einmal den vordersten Tisch. Hier würde ich mich mal erkundigen ob es nicht geruchdichte Kanaldeckel gibt. Mit freundlichen Grüßen B. Grünbeck

Gute Zimmer, top hier ist die Klimaanlage und die Möglichkeit auch mit ordentlichen Rollläden zu verdunkeln. Sehr hohe Gastronomie. Empfehlenswert und gerne immer wieder.

Solo in Volkach, wonderful Town, excellent hotel

Service is excellent, breakfast is superb, buffet is in a bit of cramped and put-of-the way space, but a great variety of options, nobody will leave without being ready for the day. Single room was small, but I didn‘t need much, did not come to sleep much. Even if you didn‘t want to go out, the owners also are vintners, so they have an excellent selection pf wines to enjoy on the walkway outside or in your room.

Die Lage ist optimal. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend. das Zimmer ist groß. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Der Fernseher ist zu niedrig aufgestellt.

Das Hotel liegt direkt in der malerischen Altstadt von Volkach und ist in einem historischen Gebäude untergebracht. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Lokale, Restaurants und Geschäfte. Unser Zimmer war in der obersten Etage mit Blick auf den Innenhof. Es war modern und stilvoll eingerichtet. Parkplätze standen in unmittelbarer Umgebung kostenlos zur Verfügung. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und man konnte es im schönen Innenhof einnehmen. Beim Empfang fühlten wir uns nicht wirklich herzlich willkommen. Die Dame an der Rezeption wirkte distanziert. Wir haben am Tag unserer Anreise um ca. 10 Uhr angerufen, ob es möglich wäre, etwas früher einzuchecken. Dies konnte man uns nicht zusagen. Nach der Ankunft hieß es, dass unser Zimmer erst ab 15.00 Uhr fertig ist, obwohl auf unserer Expedia-Bestätigung 14.00 Uhr angedruckt war. Warum es nicht möglich war das Zimmer, welches um 11.00 Uhr zu räumen ist, nicht innerhalb von zwei bis drei Stunden zu reinigen, konnten wir nicht nachvollziehen. Ein Wort des Bedauerns wurde nicht ausgedrückt. Schade, ein sehr schönes Hotel mit eigenem Weinbau und Restaurant und ja auch nicht ganz günstig. Da erwarte ich einen etwas freundlicheren, bzw. aufmerksameren Umgang mit dem Gast. Dies war vielleicht auch nur diese eine Mitarbeiterin. Aber der erste Eindruck ist nun einmal ein sehr wichtiger.
