"A simple and basic stopover but worked Ok for us. We were able to park motorbike around the side of the hotel and it felt safe. We walked into town and found a nice friendly restaurant with lovely local food, excellent value. It was a served breakfast, simple but very nice, in particular wonderful warm bread."

The young fellow was kind enough to change us to a room on the 3rd floor, which was ok for us although it lacks certain amenities. The worst thing happened was upon the check out. "Stayed one night with friends touring Portugal. Stayed here about 15 years ago and it hasn’t changed a bit. Location is great, short walk to down centre. Plenty of parking and set in large open space. Staff are very friendly and efficient, with a quick and easy check in. I wouldn’t want to stay a week but for a night or two it’s completely acceptable.
