"The staff couldn’t have done more for us. We had such a mare when we arrived to San Pedro, leaving keys to our house back in the UK and having to book a last minute hotel. Thankfully we relaxed as soon as we stepped foot into Traíña. Reception staff were lovely. Allowed us to check in early, upgraded our room to a huge terrace, explained where everything was and how it all works. Made us laugh and feel so much better about our situation! "Very much a business hotel . The air conditioning and the safe didn’t work when we arrived but were soon fixed to the managements credit . Breakfast is average but sufficient, ruled over by a Manageress with the grace of a Rottweiler . Biggest gripe was noise , the big wide corridor echoed the loud voices of revellers heading to their rooms in the small hours of the morning. Whilst not the hotels fault we were woken on six of the seven nights we stayed . Certainly a comfortable enough stay but would we reside there again - perhaps not."

"Let me start with the positives: the hotel is conveniently located, close to the beach and a short walk from town. The lobby is beautifully decorated which gives it a nice first impression. Having said that, we had a very poor experience at this hotel for a few reasons. The rooms are tiny so don't expect much comfort or luxury. They ticked most boxes for a 4 star hotel by doing the absolute minimum: most amenities are there, but crammed into a space the size of a caravan. But the worst part was how noisy it is. There is no form of insulation, so you hear everything the neighboring guest say or do, even when they have the tv on. Unfortunately for us, in our case this went on until the early hours of the morning. When informing the staff of the hotel, they didn't really address it or what they did, had no effect. We pretty much had three nights there with little sleep. Also, cigarette smoke came into our room from the next balcony throughout the night. I would strongly recommend choosing a different hotel."
