"This hotel is in the middle of downtown Austin. It is very loud and has a lot of homeless in the area. There is construction right. Ow and it was very difficult to get to the property. Check-in was great. Helpful customer service. Parking is $55 for self parking. I was told if I wanted to valet it would be $75. The location is right by I-35. Be mindful of this because there is the freeway noise, the construction noise, construction. The room “looked” clean. But, we all had red bumps that itch all over. The TV in the room did not work. It said network issue and to contact front desk. This is not something I expected from Fairmont. I will not be returning."

"Room 759 had stained floors dirty walls the hallways looked like a vacuum hadn’t been ran on them in weeks. Felt ripped off for 400 a night. Me or my 150 employees will never stay here again. Offer to comp me resort fees and a breakfast. This is a management issue definitely.When your manager lacks the vision or initiative your product lacks appeal. If I wanted dirty I would have stayed at the super 8 "

"Check in was easy! Vallet was efficient and friendly! Room was comfortable and clean. Fitness center has Peleton equipment and was spacious- free weights and machines were up to date and well kept. The location was perfect for easy access to great restaurants and 6th street. We will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family! "

"I wish there was a warning that the hotel is a hot mess with the renovations. It was super dirty the minute you walk in the door. There was no breakfast buffet. They had a grab bag for you to pickup. What was in the bag was a joke! "

"This was a very cool place to stay on our quick trip to Austin! If you are into retro stylings and re-purposing old buildings, this is the perfect place for you! Be aware the rooms do feel a bit barebone, however I believe it is intentionally stylized that way. It is quite a different experience, since all the interior walls and floors are cement block and concrete! The onsite restaurant and coffee house are quite excellent, in fact the coffee house is quite popular with the general public, so it can be quite busy at times. Also , I was taken off guard by the $25 dollar a day "Destination Fee" but I guess I should have read the fine print.... All-in-all it was a unique and enjoyable experience in a very chill atmosphere, and I would highly recommend!"
