Really friendly staff, we had early commitments which meant we really needed the room before the check in time at 4pm and the staff did all they could to accommodate this and managed to get us in much earlier than expected and we were so grateful! The room is basic but very comfortable nonetheless, perfect if you're simply looking for a place to sleep after a long day! Would definitely stay here again for the value and convenience of location. 20 minutes to Porto - cannot complain! With regards to parking, there is no parking directly associated with HiGo, however, there are so many places to park in the surrounding areas for free - we parked in the bays along the corner from the local Lidl and it was very accessible and completely free.

Good place to stay

First stay in a hostel and it beat expectations. Had private washrooms and shared kitchen. Other residents were great. in that they made room in the fridge for some of our stuff and were nice and pleasant to a couple of old travelers. Safe and Clean, Perfect for passing through

The AC never got cold even on the lowest setting. On the main area there was a strong smell, like garbage and it was there for over a day even though they came to clean the room, no one bothered to empty the trash, the smell was so bad it came into our room. The hotel is in a good area, we felt safe but far from the touristy area and the walk to the train station was long, it was hard to get UBER there so we had to walk several times.
