So charming

Step back in time in this little village near the coast. Each little apartment has a living space, bathroom and a well equipped kitchen which includes microwave oven, stove and Smeg espresso machine on the main floor with winding steps up to a loft with a comfortable bed. The restaurant has a great chef with lots of homemade Portuguese dishes. We highly recommend this place.

Although well located, our unit needed a fair amount of TLC. in particular, the sofas were very dirty. As for the beds, the mattress needed a full replacement. I had to sleep on the couch in order not to feel pain from my back. As for the service, we had a good experience with the restaurant personnel as well as the purser. But the reception employee provided a sub par service. A final word, this resort has not the structure for individuals having a mobility impairment.

The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though and staff were very friendly. The fish bread pie in the restaurant is incredible.

Es una aldea típica de Portugal, está situada en medio de la naturaleza; la tranquilidad es absoluta. Para llegar a la aldea hay dos caminos: uno que son unos 7 km de tierra desde la carretera y otro que son unos 2 km asfaltados, pero te deja algo más alejado del sur de Portugal, tienes que dar una vuelta más grande para llegar a Lagos, Albufeira, etc. La casita venía con todo lo imprescindible para pasar unos días allí, lo único que eché en falta fue una pequeña lavadora y un lavavajillas. Por lo demás, todo muy correcto. ¡La cama de matrimonio era gigante! El lavabo correcto, y la cocina, lo justo para poder cocinar cuatro cosas rápidas para pasar unos días. Los techos muy altos lo que hace que dé una gran amplitud. La casa no tiene aire acondicionado, a nosotros en 11 días que hemos estado no nos ha hecho falta. El pueblo es pequeñito, todo son casitas de época pintadas de blanco, las calles con unos suelos de pizarra preciosos que le dan un toque rústico. En el mismo pueblo hay un restaurante, una pizzería y una zona de piscina.Del restaurante y la pizzería no puedo opinar, ya que no comimos allí, y el día que queríamos ir a comer, quisimos reservar a las 21:00 y ya no aceptaban reservas. La piscina está bastante bien, está rodeada por un suelo de césped, hay varias hamacas con sus respectivas sombrillas. Para mi gusto, a la piscina le faltan horas de depuradora, el agua está algo "espesa". La recepción está abierta hasta tarde y el personal es muy amable.

Beau concept mais problèmes d'organisation

Super concept mais ... notre reservation avait été oubliée! Nous avons donc été logés dans une maisonnette minuscule, avec un canapé lit très petit dont le matelas était épais comme une feuille de cigarette pour nos 2 enfants, et très peu de place dans la pièce cuisinette/ chambre d'enfant /salon, pas de serviettes de toilette pour les enfants le premier matin, odeurs de renfermé. .. Chambre pas prête avant 20 h alors que nous sommes arrivés à 16h...Quel dommage. .. La région est magnifique et le site a pourtant du potentiel. Chouette petite piscine en pleine nature.

Delightful away from the madding crowd experience

Interesting concept renovating old cottages to give individual accomodation. Excellent on site restaurant and staff who were unfailingly helpful and obliging. Shorr distance to beaches for surfers and swimmees

Urgemütlich, geschmackvoll bis ins Detail

Richtig gemütlich, geschmackvoll und entspannend. Super Lage im Aljentejo, ganz nahe bei den Surferstränden an der Westküste, auch nicht weit an die Südküste der Algarve. Super Essen im Restaurant der Anlage. Unser Apartment war ein bisschen eng, aber das lag daran, dass wir es zu 5 bewohnten und es war eigentlich ein 4er Apartment. Die anderen waren schon ausgebucht, verständlich, weil es echt nett ist.

Quaint and quiet

Quiet and quaint, this little village is a perfect getaway for couples, friends and families... But don't expect lots of nightlife or bars - there are just a couple of restaurants and the rest you have to drive to. Lovely accommodation, however, and a nice pool.

Hotel rustico con una ubicación privilegiada donde se respira tranquilidad y descanso pero de verdad. El personal del hotel es extremadamente amable y contribuye definitivamente a crear una atmósfera familiar y agradable. Aunque sus calidades no puedan considerarse altas es de la zona de Sagres, Caparrapateira, Vila d`Obispo, etc de las mejores opciones aunque algo cara. Creo que merecería la pena repetir.
