The room was stubbornly hotter than the weather outside, only partly mitigated by open windows and the fans provided. Not a good or comfortable sleep - with traffic noise and not the nicest air quality. The room was an unusual layout but temperature was the big issue. Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful - but the hotel building seems to have fairly major ventilation and heating problems. It seemed like efforts had been made to make the room potentially quite nice in other respects. Could be fine in Spring or Autumn, but not in mid-summer (and other reviews suggest not in midwinter either)
