Easy check in polite staff clean room fantastic breakfast really enjoyed my stay. Only one thing needs addressing asked about taxi service to airport when checking out staff quoted 44euros fixed rate for hotel guests so booked it when arrived at airport driver insisted on 54euros and got in my option aggressive and loud insisting payment in cash was disappointing end to my stay;

Wonderful stay

We liked the space of the room. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We liked the fitness and sauna area and got to relax after a long day. The breakfast buffet is amazing. We would definitely stay there again and recommended the hotel.

Not the best experience!

Positive experiences at Radisson Blue. Receptionist Claudio was friendly at check-in, and we got a nice room. Receptionist Simon was very service-minded and, together with his colleague from Estonia, should be praised for being helpful in investigating various questions we had about parking, the area and a trip to Strasbourg. Negative experiences: After the first night, we found a small animal in the bed, and we were upset about that. Cleaning the edges behind the bed rail by the light panel was not done properly. We complained about it to Simon, who sent extra cleaning and offered free parking. At the entrance to the hotel, ashtrays are set up, so smoking hotel guests stand on both sides when you pass by. My husband has asthma, and we are both non-smokers, and therefore it is very unpleasant to have to go through cigarette smoke when you enter the hotel. We would suggest that you move the smoking area to another place than at the entrance to the hotel. Attached pictures for information. Kind regards from two hotel guests

More 3 than 4 star quality. Staff were generally pleasant and helpful. If you arrive a bit early, even if a room is available they will charge for early access. This isn't typical in 4 star hotels in my experience nor is it good customer service - it costs nothing if a room is ready to allow a customer to have access slightly early, it's just a way of trying to make extra money The hotel is a good way out which you know when booking. The bar is closed Sunday/Monday which they don't advertise, if you want a drink after a day in the city on these days they'll direct you to a local petrol station to buy your own supplies as there aren't a variety of places you can go to nearby. My room was a bit worn, paint coming away in bathroom, panel missing below sink exposing pipework, damaged chair to desk. Would not stay again.

I liked how close it was to shops, transport can be expensive but if you have a car this would be a great place. The only reason I gave 2 stars for staff was because when I went to check out and give my card to the 24hour reception, no one was there, I waited 5 minutes and walked around no one was there. So I just wrote my name on an envelope with my cards inside and left it on the desk. I saw the night before that there was no one at the desk aswell

Friendly professional staff at check in. Easy parking in safe underground garage. Unable to locate at first. Nothing like picture sent by expedia. Also name blocked by two coaches parked outside. Various marks on carpet in room. Reported to staff who declined to see it. Comfortable beds great shower. Fridge in room which helped as weather very hot. Asked for room to be serviced. Only changed towels and made bed did not hoover as some food debris still in situ on my return. Great choose at buffet breakfast

Outer city location, no facilities.

Hotel overall was clean and comfortable, further out from city than we would have liked but once you get to grips with public transport it is ok, lots of Ubers as well to get around. Google maps is brilliant if you put your start and end location it gives you route options with u bahn, bus and tram numbers and timings. The hotel does not however cater to guests needs. The restaurant is purely for grou bookings and there is nothing the area to go and have a drink or meal, so best to stay in town to eat. On our first full night we were told we could not bu s drink from the bar as they were two busy serving around 12 people in the restaurant, they would serve us if they had time. If we had realised this we would have stayed in town. We ordered pizza delivery rather than spending another 30 min to get back into town. Vienna was beautiful but a bad choice for hotel unfortunately. We did not check out the gym and spa so can not comment on it.
