"The Metcalfe is a wonderful property only steps away from everything downtown Ottawa has to offer. In addition to our spacious, tastefully appointed room, unbeknownst to us, the hotel charged our EV. When the valet brought our car to us on check-out it was fully charged and ready to go! Being a gifted critic I can usually find something that did not satisfy but at this well managed hotel everything was exactly the way we like it!"
"Staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable - clean and tidy, modern finishes, full fridge was a bonus, temperature was easy to control and manage. Lots of sunlight during the day (heavy curtains blocked it out when needed though). The cafe attached to the hotel was nice, very convenient for breakfast and lunch. Breakfasts at Daly’s were generous and tasty. The Shore Club dinner was a treat.
Having the Rideau Centre shopping mall attached was very convenient.
