"Overall our experience was really great, the property is right in the middle of the downtown, we never took out our car during our whole stay there. Only thing they can improve is there wifi connectivity, inside the room we couldn’t get any network signals, had to rely on cellular network all the time"

"We stayed in room 410, a 1 bed king suite. Really lovely, spacious, clean and welcoming. Several Keurig coffee pods are provided (there is tea, too), and some sugar and a few creamers in the fridge. Lovely bathroom essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion are provided. We used the parkade and found it to be spacious and secure. The room faces full west so it warms up in the afternoon on hot sunny days. Because there’s no air conditioning, you pray for a breezy afternoon and evening to cool the suite down. We left the patio doors in the living room and bedroom open all afternoon and night, and we needed the assistance of the ceiling fans and a tower fan to get the bedroom cool enough to sleep. It’s in a lovely residential neighborhood and it was great people watching. Garbage trucks come around early in the morning (6:30-7:30) picking up the large garbage bins at the hotel and surrounding apartment buildings so it can be noisy if you’re hoping for a quiet morning sleep in. And there are lots of seagulls flying around, being so close to the ocean). It’s highly walkable, and Dallas Road is only a few blocks away - take a nice meandering walk to and through Beacon Hill Park! And it’s super walkable into downtown. There’s also plenty of Uber’s and taxis around if you want or need transportation. We’d definitely stay at the Oswego again the next time we’re in Victoria!"

"This hotel is centrally located in the heart of the downtown harbor action. Older but charming hotel that is well kept for its age. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room - very large! Enjoyed the in-room coffee and the mini fridge was useful. It was priced right and I'd totally recommend it."
