Staying at Pension Regina was a much-needed break from a tiring life, and in many ways, it was a peaceful and restful time. However, the bedding had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, and the odor clung to my pajamas after sleeping in them. The pillows were in such bad condition that we couldn’t use them at all. My husband and I ended up using small cushions instead, but our necks hurt the entire two nights we stayed.
Although I didn’t mention it at the time because the owner and her son were very kind and welcoming, I hope these things can be improved for future guests. We also had to keep the window open for fresh air, but there were mosquitoes, and unfortunately, no mosquito repellent or coils were provided, so we had to go to the supermarket ourselves to buy some.
