Great location

Great location and a very clean room. The owner is friendly and helpful. When arriving, you'll have to arrange an arrival time. Although we did that, there was no one there when we arrived and we had to wait for half on hour which wasn't a very good start for a couple of days stay. The internet connection was poor, at least in the upper room, and most of the time there was no access. All in all, though, I would recommend Anastasia Suite, especially if you value location above all.

B&B nota 10

Chegamos um pouco antes do horário marcado mas ligamos para a Angélica e 10 minutos depois ela estava lá para abrir a casa. A localização é ótima, perto de tudo que tem para ser visto em Verona. nem precisa de condução para os principais locais. O B&B é bem confortável e limpo. Tudo funcionou 100%. Ao contrário de outros B&B onde compartilhamos a casa com a família, neste ela não mora lá. Melhor quanto a privacidade.

Perfect location, it was very difficult to find this street when we arrived. There are two rooms & two bathrooms on two levels, being on main level you don't have any privacy. Likely for us another guests didn't arrive so we felt very comfortable, otherwise we would feel as we are in the hostel. This place would be very good for a bigger family with adult kids

Not a place if you need breakfast before 9 am

Quaint B&B, but beware.....there is no parking close - requires parking 10 min walk away and we only found out afterwards. You'll also need to arrange an arrival time, and we had to adjust ours to meet the managers schedule - and not that convenient. Room is nice, but shower is small. While it claims B&B status - its more like bed and bed......as the mgr wasn't going to be able to show up until 9 am for breakfast.

Lovely B&B in Verona!

On my recent trip to Italy, I stayed at the Anastasia Suite B&B for two days before my voyage to Bolzano. The street leading to the B&B is a small narrow side street right off the Piazza Erbe. The B&B is a few flights up in residential area. The B&B owner is Angelica, she is a lovely person who is extremely helpful with matter to the B&B or general info about your stay in Verona. The accommodations at the Anastasia Suite B&B were lovely, rooms are always hard to gauge from pictures on the web, but it met or exceeded my expectations. Room overlooks a street leading into Piazza Erbe, can be a little busy at times, but you will enjoy crowd watching and feeling the energy of the area. Angelica also serves a simple but lovely breakfast. To my surprise she has a Nesspresso machine which I own at home, so I was feeling really comfortable with having my Nesspresso Cappuccinos in the morning. The Anastasia Suite B&B is central to everything in Verona, the piazza Erbe, coliseum, Roman theatre, etc. Be sure to check out a great restaurant which Angelica reccomended to me “Osteria Da Ugo” which is very close. You won’t be disappointed with that meal. Anastasia Suite B&B was a great stay for me in Verona, I think if you need to be able to climb up a few flights to get there, maybe an issue for some, but everything else was great. Thank you!

Great location in Verona

Nice room in the best part of Verona. Walking distance to all the main sites. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

The service and attention was excellent. The location was just what we wanted. The owner really was accommodating and made her place very clean.

Fantastic localization right in the city center

Our room was great and very charming, with a very large and comfortable bed, nice TV, fridge working ok, good space in the wardrobes and around the bed etc. The shower and the bathroom were great, clean and spacious. The best thing, though is the localization: we were on the third floor of a building facing Corso Anastasia, just some steps from the Piazza delle Erbe. The view from the window over Corso Anastasia, including the Torre Lamberti, a little piece of the Basilica di Santa Anastasia and even the lion in the Piazza delle Erbe, was absolutely beautiful. This was probably the lodging with the best localization we ever had: near all the sights in the city. There are also great restaurants (we would recommend the one on Via delle Fogge, with the nice Brazilian waiter, across from the window). The personnel was friendly and gentle, and breakfast was tasteful although not so abundant.

Hôtel idéalement situé et très agréable

Un accueil chaleureux dans cet appartement-hôtel parfaitement restauré, belles prestations et situé en plein coeur de Vérone à deux pas de la place aux herbes et de la basilique Santa Anastasia. Les chambres propose une vue très agréable sur le vieux Vérone. Autonomie totale, pas de réception, on vous laisse les clés comme à la maison ! En revanche, le matin quelqu'un vient vous dresser la table pour le petit déjeuner. Belle découverte !

Nice location but no breakfast

Rated this overall 2 as Anastasia Suite B&B literally didn't live up to its name! 1. It wasn't a 'suite' hotel & 2. more importantly, didn't fulfill the second 'B' of B&B. 2. One expects a B&B would actually offer breakfast, especially when the site said it included a "free breakfast" and "guests are served a complimentary breakfast". The woman checking us in didn’t speak English, so we called the contact person & told she said the rate we paid did NOT include breakfast. That simply wasn’t true. I later emailed the contact several hotels.com room rate "screen shots" & the B&B's website indicating we should get breakfast, but got no reply. When we left the next morning all that was available in the "kitchen" area were 2 packaged dry toasts & a pod coffee maker that made terrible coffee! Several other small complaints. The shower stall was SO small it was difficult to bend over to pick up the soap & shampoo from the floor. There was no shelf in the shower. Our room was up at least 3 flight of stairs, but there was no lift. The hotel also advertised internet access, but all we could get was access for sending email, no internet ability. Finally, it was nearly impossible to find this place. There is no sign. The only ID was a name on the phone buzzer, & the "street" was too narrow for anything but the smallest European cars. When a room says it’s a B&B, I expect to get what’s advertised, so can't recommend this place even though it’s near Piazza Erbe.
