Check-in was quick and the lady was very nice. I asked for a flag in the room (birthday) and it was indeed there. The hotel is very quiet which is nice for people who want calmness. The room was tidy and had a luxury-appeal. The pool was very clean (although a bit cold) and the sauna also. My first time but definitely not my last !

We enjoyed a large selection of food at breakfast. Reception staffs are friendly. Free parking is another advantage of this hotel. However, we were disappointed by the following: 1) No trash can in the room. Hotel guests are forced to dispose of garbage in the waste bin placed near the elevator. (Only one bin on one floor.) 2) No bath rug in the bathroom. Shower curtain is not long enough to prevent water splash. Shampoo bottle did not work well. 3) No locker room in the swimming pool area.

Poor coffee good porridge

Two lamps didn't work in the room otherwise it was fine but dark. Worst of all was the coffee at breakfast, if you can call it that. Completely tasteless, tried tea, could not do as the water was lukewarm (this was at 6.45 so right when breakfast starts). A sign said that you could get 'specialty coffee' (what they call a regular flat white or latte) if paying extra and contacting the staff, but no staff could be located. However, sparkling wine was offered at 6:30 at no extra cost???? I would have preferred regular quality coffee on a friday morning before work. I tried the local 'specialty' øllebrød (rye and beer porridge) w/ heavy cream and that was pretty good.
