"It’s a bit out of the way, but amazing views. The beach is very rocky so bring swim shoes. Once past the rocks it’s amazing. Private and quiet. Treat your self to the oceanfront room for an easy sunrise view. Staff was amazing. Travel from Athens and to the airport were easy with taxi. "Whenever I book a cruise that is not leaving out of New York I always come in at least one day early. This cruise I stayed at The Alex Hotel and it was wonderful! Ten minutes car ride from the port, clean hotel, bed and hot water was great. Staff was very accommodating even before I arrived. Set up a taxi before my arrival so I didn’t have to worry about a thing after an 8 hour flight. I would recommend this hotel hands down. They have a rooftop restaurant which has amazing views and the food...

"Beautiful facility that offers upscale beach, pool, gym and wonderful close by restaurants. But the day of my Son's wedding, I as well as many of our guests requested an iron and we were all informed that none were available. When one becomes available, we would be notified. This never occurred. We also rented a suite for that day. and it did provide a steamer.So we all took turns freshening up our clothes for the wedding. I expected a bit more for this high price point."

The whole building is tastefully designed, the room, the hall, the terraced restaurant. The amenities are luxurious. Vouliagmeni being a beach area, the hotel provides not only towel but also handwoven beach baskets. A must see hotel."
