The hotel itself was fine. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. However, as soon as you leave the gates, there are predatory rickshaw drivers who are allowed to park waiting on guests. The hotel should not allow this.

This is a newer hotel with very clean rooms and all in very good condition. Restaurant option is limited but the Indian cuisine is excellent. There is a bar, fitness room and a swiming pool. But fitness center is small and limited if you’re in to that. Staff is very good and friendly.

Decent stay

Decent stay. Would not say this is a spectacular hotel but overall was good. Pro: location is in the market, hotel is comfortable, not too far from the main landmarks. They also gave us a late check out without much fuss. Cons: breakfast spread was limited but tasty. Common areas need some attention to be clean. All in all, will not hesitate to visit again.

Double Tree was a nice relaxing spot to end our holiday. The compound was secure, refreshing. Staff were attentive. Bar and Restaurant was impressive. Pool was a nice change and SPA service excellent. Only one negative and that was that all the staff continued to ask for reviews on website. Was a little over the top.

The property has all the amenities, the only issue is , it’s within a city which is very noisy. The outside of the property looks like a ghetto. The staff was courteous and we were half boarded, the dinner as well as breakfast was really good with lot of variety of food. The room was good. We had to ask them to for the room service. Over all I would say it’s just below 5* but I was happy with my trip.

Lovely retreat from hustle and bustle

Such pleasant staff and a lovely tranquility about the hotel in the heart of a frantic city. It was lovely to arrive to a great welcome at the hotel with a welcome drink and cookie. The hotel is only a couple of months old and room was fabulous with massive TV, bath, view over the pool, comfortable bed. Good buffet breakfast on both days we stayed and room service for dinner was good. Staff so polite all the time. It is close to Sarnath, and a 30 minute cheap taxi to the Ganga. The polite staff and the peaceful aura about the place made a lovely retreat from the hustle and bustle outside.
