"The hotel staff were exceptional. very friendly and kind and will go to any length to please you. From the front desk to the dining area and ski rental area, all great people with great customer service. Berangere at the front desk was super kind and professional and did everything to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I was very impressed by all their staff. Very close to the slopes, ski in and ski out. Great location, close to everything. Higlly recommend it. "

"We are a family of four, with two college-age children, and had a wonderful stay at the Samovar. We stayed in one of the family rooms, which was perfect for us (with two beds in a spacious upstairs loft). The hotel is perfectly located -- literally across the street from the Dailles gondola (and only about a block from the funicular to the summit). "Stayed with my mom for 8 nights. Wonderful small hotel in probably the best location in Val d’Isére. Great view from the room (south-facing) Dinner was absolutely amazing - great chef! Went out for dinner in town a few nights, but the best meals we had was in the hotel restaurant. Attentive staff and owner. Thank you for a wonderful vacation! "
