"This is a delightful, welcoming and serene guest house located high on the hillside above Puna'auia, just south of Papeete, with a view of Moorea in the distance. My only note of caution would be the challenging, sometimes rough and very steep drive to the property but the way is well marked. The breakfast is fantastic and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend for those looking for a quiet, laid back experience.

"I stay here when i need to be in Papeete. Its convenient to the businesses i need to frequent, the property is in excellent condition and the staff is friendly and helpful. The hostel rooms are great, especially because the hotel is convenient to everything I need."
"This is a great location to get to the Ferry…the Breakfast is wonderful. Most of the Staff is very good. The bedroom and all is clean and good. I had a problem with my bed it seems like there are wires out and when I got up I got hurt in my head from the lower bed… this was my third night there and this is the first time it happens… they need to check on this… I also had a problem with a Staff Member… sometime in the future I will let them know… other than that is very good"
"Pension Pare Lodge was amazing. Very clean and friendly staff. The environment at Pare was serene and relaxing. We loved the pool, the chickens and their antics, and the cute dog. I would highly recommend Pension Pare Lodge. "
"Our favorite property on Tahiti. Great staff, beautiful black sand beach, loved our suite. Only two things we thought could be better, the "hot tub" by the pool is not heated, and the restaurant food was a bit inconsistent. We had great food most of the time but on a few occasions the same dish two nights in a row were very different. Small issues, we will definitely be back."
