The location is great for those traveling via ferry or cruise ship. The coffee shop has the best coffee and a delicious breakfast. The room was clean and had a coffee machine that ground the beans, stocked daily! Nice shower and bed, bedding. Highly recommend!

This hotel was a great choice for a basic stay. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. The onsite restaurant was excellent and made it very convenient to grab a good meal without leaving the property. I also appreciated the comfortable outdoor seating area, which was a nice place to relax while waiting for my room to be ready.

Large updated rooms across from the ferry terminal. Great for a one night stay before going to another island. We would definitely stay here again. We appreciated how modern and quiet our room on the 4th floor was. A nice view of Moorea from our balcony (at the side of the ferry terminal)

Delightful hotel ideally situated across the road from the ferry terminal with direct views of Moorea from restaurant, rooftop bar and rooms. Amazing modern rooms, very comfortable bed, and great shower. The French restaurant opens for lunch and dinner and was amazing; the rooftop bar had a DJ, yummy pizzas and drinks. Breakfast available on ground level cafe very funky. Front desk Staff were so helpful and we were given an upgraded room. Amazing stay and will definitely stay here again.

Evening check in and parking was very difficult. The hotel entrance was small and right next to a crowded bar. There is one stopping spot in front of the door that’s easy to miss. Staff was hard to find outside. Once inside it got better with desk staff taking charge and arranging parking in their lot. They were very service minded. Room was fine - both clean and quiet. Internet was very slow. The buffet breakfast was adequate if not creative with things running short often. Adequate for a night if you’re using the ferry across the street.

This hotel is excellent!!! The staff is friendly and very helpful. Our room was fantastic. And the location was exactly where we wanted to be. I loved the rooftop bar, and they serve delicious pizza!!! I could live in the on-site coffee shop next to the lobby (I am a coffee junkie 😉☕️). I highly recommend!!!

We only stayed one night at Kon Tiki Hotel after arriving on an evening flight from SFO. Nevertheless it made a big impression! It is a pleasant little place with very welcoming and accomodating staff. The location is ideal - close to PPT, right across the street from the ferry terminal and an easy walk to the market, ATMs, waterfront, shops, and the pearl museum. The attached cafe is delightful. The room was quite large and comfortable, so a pleasant place to recover from international travel. We actually went back on our last day before departing back to the US as we had several hours between flights (tip - use the daylockers at PPT to stash luggage between flights). Enjoyed the cool cafe and free wifi for a respite from the afternoon sun; and the hotel staff called us a cab and let us wait in the lobby so we could do more exploring even though we weren't guests that day. This is just a very pratical and pleasant gem of a place; definitely recommend as a base for exploration or further travel.

Very handy for the port if you’re getting on a ferry or ship—a few minutes walk. Staff were friendly, room was comfortable if rather dark-everything worked, coffee included with coffee maker, nice balcony, not tons of charm but fine. Has double windows to tone down noise from street, which worked well. Walking distance to market, Pearl museum, City Hall (nice colonial building), Cathedral, beachfront park.
