The staff at The Beach Boutique Hotel was incredible! They were friendly, helpful, and kind, and went over and above to make our stay special. We enjoyed lounging by the pool, watching sunsets over the beach, and taking time to enjoy the delicious meals the chef prepared. I would definitely stay again!

Beautifully designed hotel

We stayed here one night before our flight as it's only a 30 minute drive to the international airport. It has been designed by a student of Geoffrey Bawa, and the hotel and grounds are lovely. We stayed in one if the suites which was enormous, and had an outside Jacuzzi which was a lovely place to watch the sun set.

Bad food and no hot water

Nice hotel with pool on the ocean, the beach is gross so stay at the pool. The r restaurant food is very. Water in the shower was luke warm but everything else worked fine

Lovely hotel

Boutique hotel was lovely. Staff were nice and helpful when you asked. Sadly we didn't have hot running water for a day but the staff were quick to act when we reported this. Not a lot around the hotel of you wanted to explore.

　空港に比較的近いので、このホテルを選びました。 　チェックイン当日、国際線の到着が数時間も遅れた上に、空港から乗ったタクシーのドライバーが道に迷い、ホテルへの到着が深夜２時を過ぎてしまいましたが、スタッフの方は親切に対応してくださいました。 　ただ、翌日、シーギリヤのホテルへ移動するために、タクシーを事前にお願いしたのですが、後から考えると、かなり料金が高かったことを未だに後悔しています。 　ホテルそのものの滞在や、スタッフの対応については、満足しています。

Relaxing and quiet

Away from the busy tourist spot. Quiet and relaxing but also nothing much to do there. Excellent service, very friendly and helpful staff. Love the breakfast.

Good, but not quite the full five stars

While the Beach Boutique Hotel is certainly a nice place and good value for money, we experienced customer service issues that let it down. There are almost always small problems & that's to be accepted, but rather than be open and apologise for any shortcomings, the staff, in their efforts to please, do not handle things well. As examples, we were not warned about a private noisy children's party that they were hosting which spoiled our hoped-for relaxing evening; when the TV did not work they offered to send electricians or move us when they knew that the problem affected the whole hotel so either solution would have failed; and when they only had a few choices for wine, they still showed us the whole list & kept bringing poor alternatives to our choice instead of just saying upfront what was available. The hotel is clean & pleasant with excellent food & nice location (apart from the litter on the beach which should be cleared), but to be special, the management needs to realise that clients prefer honesty when perfection is not possible.

Nice Hotel - Convenient for International Airport

Nice hotel, relatively close to the airport which is about half-hour away. (It is actually quite close, but due to traffic conditions it can take a while) My stay came with a free transfer to the airport. My room was very clean, modern, air conditioned, with international TV. Bed was large and comfortable. The staff were very pleasant, helpful and courteous. Food was great, breakfast was a choice of European or Asian. Restaurant food was excellent and reasonably priced. Although it is called the 'Beach' Boutique Hotel, and yes, it is situated right next to the ocean, there is not much in the way of an actual beach, and it should be noted that the sea is not suitable for swimming due to big waves and dangerous currents. The hotel does have a large swimming pool and a well-kept lawn garden with deckchairs overlooking the sea.

Great place to unwind before the flight

We arrived the day before flying home to find a beautiful boutique hotel. The room was fantastic and the bathroom modern and clean. There really isn't much to do or see in the surrounding area, but that just gives you a good excuse to unwind and enjoy the facilities available at the hotel. The infinity pool is great and the views of the sea from the lawn are amazing, the perfect place to watch one of Sri Lanka's famous sunsets. The staff are also very helpful, and assisted with arranging transport to the airport, which is just a short 20-minute taxi ride away. The prices in the restaurant are a little expensive, but the food was very good.

Schönes, sauberes Hotel mit prima Service

Tolles Hotel mit aufmerksamem Service und einem für Sri Lanka guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhätnis. Baden im Meer leider nicht möglich, aber netter Pool. Guter Ausgangspunkt als Unterkunsft für die erste Nacht vor einer Rundreise. Gute Küche.

Un fracaso total, aparentemente todo correcto, pero en seis días solo hicieron el servicio de habitaciones. Contratamos a través del hotel un coche con chofer con unas condiciones que no se adaptaron a la realidad y no salio por un ojo de la cara.Si vas a este hotel aseguraré bien que te lo den todo por escrito

Beach getaway to recharge
