"Studio room was clean, spacious and very adequately stocked with kitchen utensils and pans. Dishwasher was a plus. Amazing location and friendly staff. Breakfast buffet had a wide variety of delicious choices."

"This hotel has an amazing location!! Close to everything and the staff were very helpful calling cabs, giving directions or helping you use the trolley or bus system. The rooms are just standard hotel rooms, nothing special or different. However the ice machines did not work on multiple floors, for whatever reason the rooms on our floor were never cleaned until we asked about it on day #4. The air conditioning would randomly go out then come back on so you were either freezing or burning up. When this was mentioned they literally ignored it. I booked a room including the "resort $25 per day option for the perks" when I get there I get 3/4 of the perks and when I question it the front desk clerk acted like I owed her something for asking why I was being denied the additional perk. I had to loop in the manager and he just passed the buck saying it was expedia's fault. No sir, it was not - your desk clerks messed up and need to own up to it. I paid the hotel directly. Also this hotel has quite a bit of homeless that sleep in the area so if you are out extra early or late - they are in several of the doorways."

"Loved the location as you can walk to a lot of restaurants close to French quarters. I did not get the room i booked upon check in but Taylor fixed the issue for me the next day once a king room became available. Room was clean but definitely needs some upgrades, surroundings were quiet so perfect for a nap and goodnight sleep. I would stay there again as it was also affordable. "

"Overall a pleasant place to stay with adequate but aging rooms. Cleaning staff were not consistently friendly or thoughtful e.g. three of us in a room did not result in three towels or adequate coffee supplies, despite rooms only being cleaned upon 24 hour advance request. Free parking is appreciated and while there is no free breakfast the food service area is large and varied. No restaurant with staffed table service. Close to Tulane University, I would gladly return for what would be my fourth stay. March is usually too cold for the outdoor pool."

"The whole experience was awesome from top to bottom.The staff were inviting, friendly, and exceeded every expectation or necessity from valet, to check-in/check-out, concierge service, bellhops, and even cleaning lady calling and making sure we got our forgotten items returned. The building and room were immaculate, beautiful, and elegant with a nice historic feel."
