This hotel ruined our visit to New Orleans to go to the WWll museum. First, they mistakenly charged my card 845.00 even though I had pre-paid for my room, and had given them my card for "incidentals." The electric room key didn't work half the time, requiring many trips to the front desk, the bathroom door, which slides on a rail, would not stay shut, and couldn't lock, the toilet flapper continuously leaked, very rude front desk staff, and on two of three days, the house keepers showed up at 3:30 p.m. and only took out the trash and left a few towels, the ice machine on our floor was broken the entire time we were there, there wasn't a vending machine to get a drink, and the topper was that a large bottle of water in their little store was 8.75! If anyone doesn't believe me about the cost of water, please call the hotel and ask. Horrible, horrible hotel. They make Motel 6 look like the Ritz-Carlton! This is not a negative review of the WWll museum, which is incredible. One of the best museums I've ever been to. Definitely a "cant miss."

I wish I could live here. This was one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The staff are pleasant, friendly, and helpful. The hotel shop is incredibly reasonable and convenient, which is a nice plus. The rooms are amazing, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and clean! Such a nice, pleasant stay. Even more impressive, is the fact that you can walk to the French Quarter and One Direction or the garden district the other. The Best of Both Worlds, you can experience the touristy attractions and then to go to local dining and shops. Amazing. Love love love. The world war 2 museum is amazing! I cannot wait to return.

A beautiful facility...Top notch in almost every way. Staff was remarkably poor. With the exceptions of Nate (front desk) and Maria and Linda (dining room), staff members were rude and unfriendly. Housekeepers didn't refill coffee supplies and chattered endlessly with each other in the hallway. TV was not functioning...Three calls and no results over a long weekend. Attempts to book adjoining rooms with family even with a months advance notice, were fruitless. Would not recommend. Would not recommend.
