"Our room was on the first floor. Immediately when we walked in it smelled like feet/Fritos. Brought me back to my daughter’s days of gymnastics and the smell of the gym. Not pleasant. The room was updated and clean, but the shower itself could have used some attention. Definitely needed some scrubbing of the caulk and grout and especially the tub floor. For our entire stay of 6 night the room had a damp wet feel all the time…even after several days with the AC on constantly. All my clothes felt damp and the carpet even felt wet. Not sure if there was a water issue in the room at some point. The hotel hallways did NOT feel this way at all. Just our room. On top of that, the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work so there was no way to suck out the steam from the shower or any odors from the bathroom. That only added to the dampness of the room. It took me twice as long as normal to blow dry my hair LOL I felt like we were in Florida inside our room. The hotel itself is nice. Not super fancy but nice. Hot breakfast included was a great plus…just wish there was bacon along with sausage every day. Overall a great stay. I just should have asked to be switched to a different room from day one."
"immaculate place well cared for. staff is upbeat, friendly Northwoods vibe. this was a return stay for us. 4 stars on the amenities only because of the weird setup that the bathroom doors feature. same as last year, literally a squeeze to get in and yeah we are just normal size. breakfast bar was solid with a nice selection. we will be back next year !"
"Clean, quiet, comfortable bed, perfect location across from Torpy park. Recently renovated, a solid motel experience with a nice seating area behind overlooking a Lilly pad filled lake"
