"Lovely stay. Beautifully appointed hotel with lots of tasteful communal areas and sitting rooms to relax and enjoy a Cotswolds gin and tonic. Knowledgeable bar and restaurant staff who were helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Great grounds for a stroll even in freezing February."

"Such a lovely 3 night stay at the Colesbourne Inn. We were in a room in the little cottage. It was lovely with the only slight downside being that you can hear the people in the room upstairs. The food was lovely and the staff really friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back."

"What an awesome hotel, everyone was friendly. No air conditiioning, but we survived well. Don't think that if you are from the states, you should rent a car. There are plenty of options for transportation vendors, the hotel will provide you the contacts. Beautiful part of the world."

"Idyllic setting in a peaceful Cotswold village with beautiful gardens and views but still close to other towns and villages. Very nicely furnished bedroom and a fantastic large bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Only slight negative to our room (Pheasant Nest) was some noise from bedroom above (creaky floor and running water). Thoroughly recommended"

Extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work, towels are quite old, Check your dinner bill, we had 3 bottles of wine added to the bill but we’d only had 1 £25 bottle. The hotel is very large and set in its own grounds and gardens. For my stay it was very quiet - I can't comment on when it is full and busy. However, my stay was during the latest heatwave and my bedroom was without air conditioning and uncomfortably hot.
