"This hotel was the cleanest and nicest I've found in quite some time. The staff was incredibly friendly, the pool was clean, and there was no loitering allowed in the parking lot. I rented this room for my 75 yo mother and myself while my father was in CAMC. I'd stay a night with him while she rested then she'd stay with him while I slept. I felt very safe having my mother here and that's VERY rare for Charleston. This hotel appeared very family friendly. I'll recommend it to everyone traveling to Charleston. My only complaint was that there was one guest laundry area that was actually inaccessible as there were boxes of toiletries stacked in front of the washer and dryer and my key didnt open the door. Staff said it was "out of order." We ended up staying in Charleston longer as my father wasn't released when we thought we would be. I sadly had to stay at the hotel beside this one only because I had to do laundry for my mother and wouldn't do it here. Had the laundry area worked, I would have absolutely continued my stay here. "

"My assigned room was in the 2nd building to the right of the main hotel. Upon arriving, there was a prostitute standing blocking the entry. She only moved when a man led her in. When i stepped into the building, it reeked of an awful overwhelming powdery aftershave smell and it was dirty. The entire parking lot was packed with people yelling and running. I didn't feel safe AT ALL there so I left and didn't stay. The staff needs to control all the loitering in the parking lot and watch who they rent rooms to. 10/10 do NOT recommend. "
