Rooms full of mosquitoes but no repellent or mosquitoe nets yet the hotel is besides a river, smelly rooms something wrong with the plumbing, noise from the road, fake lawn instead of carpets inside the rooms, fake chandeliers, doors that do not lock properly, waiting for 2 hours before being checked in. The is no 24 hour reception there. The one who does the checking in does not stay at that hotel, you will have to wait till she comes to check you in. Had this other occupant saying that that lady who checks people in was racial to her. There are no phones in the rooms. Go at your own peril. Only good thing there is internet and a lady called Popy. She does most of the work there, you will feel pity for her, as she does from cleaning rooms, to ironing, to seeing if guests are comfortable to serving meals. Somebody has to rescue her. Again I say, go at your own peril.

Our stay in Upington at Belurana South Africa
An interesting place , high level of security The room we had was spacious , tub in the bedroom ! Tiny shower & toilet The staff extremely helpful, WiFi internment , Breakfast very expensive for the local money Beautiful setting , I would recommend this hotel to anyone , prices vary for the rooms The room was very clean , the place shuts down after 5 pm, & only cell phone contact is available Towels & bed linen of super quality There is a swimming pool & large gardens I would stay there again it is family owned & every one speaks English Restaurants nearby

Convenient and clean
Great area to stop for a stay over / half way stop. Friendly welcoming. And the swimming pool is a great relieve from the heat.
