"I had a great time here! The staff are SO friendly here, it was wonderful. If you have mobility issues, I would not book here. The stairs are very narrow and the walk from the road to the property is a bit far, and to check out you need to go to the hotel across the street. "The hotel was clean and individual air conditioning a very quiet area. The room was about small but we were not there often except to sleep. There is no AC but a fan was provided. Located by a bus stop. Plan on walking up hill a bit to get to the train station from the hotel"

"It’s very clear that the hotel’s primary focus is to make guests feel as relaxed and as comfortable as possible, and they succeed on all fronts. The lakefront view is so worth it. It’s an experience I don’t think I would’ve been able to get elsewhere. It’s calm, quiet and allows you to slow down and really take in the lake’s serenity, rather than it feeling like a brief stop on a tour. The building is great. The food was great. The staff were helpful and kind. The location is easily accessible by car or a 10 minute bus ride. I was able to walk up the hillside to the nice village and get a good view of the lake with a good bit of exercise. I would happily stay again."

"Great location in Spiez. It’s about a 7 min walk from the train station. This is a small hotel with basic rooms. I would recommend staying in a lake view room. The “comfort” room I stayed in faced the street which can be loud. Fortunately, the windows really help block the outside noise. This hotel does not have AC so I wouldn’t recommend staying here during the warm weather months. The terrace has a great view of the lake and it was nice to have breakfast there. FYI, there’s a shared small fridge in the hallway."
