"Set on a dead end in Ashford, CT this property is at an advantage for everything. The area is dark in all the right places and the road is a dead end. The Ashford is also set in prime leaf peeping county and has a nice walking spot. (If that’s your thing) The staff is a lovely local couple who will help you with patience and guidance. "Everything was good, but the hotel was dated and will look really nice once they are able to renovate it. We couldn't beat the price for attending a concert at Mohegan Sun. I couldn't see paying $400+ for the hotels closer to Mohegan Sun. The Grand Lake Hotel was worth the cost we paid."
