I can't say enough nice things about The Summit Inn. Our stay was wonderful. The view was amazing and the sunset from the veranda was breathtaking. If you get the chance to stay here I highly recommend it.
Beautiful historic hotel with amazing laurel movies above Uniontown. Clean with great on property dining and bar. Cozy fireplaces and areas to lounge! You’ll love it!!!
Historic hotel in great condition. Convenient to places we wanted to visit. Two F.L. Wright homes nearby. Ohiopyle state park nearby. Full menu restaurant plus a small bar with food service also.
Clean room with a refreshing taste of class. The details of the hotel throughout the building are incredible and provide an escape from the daily grind of today’s world.
The staff is so friendly and welcoming at the hotel, the restaurant an the bar area, They loved to share information about the area an all its beauty an history. The sunsets are to DIE for while relaxing on the front porch. Guests were all friendly and social. Very enjoyable
The room was clean & quiet. The ambiance in the lobby was cozy, with big chairs, game corners, a fireplace, & a tv for those who wanted to watch sports.
The food was delicious, as we dined in for one dinner & two breakfasts. The apple crisp was a treat after dinner! The staff was friendly & professional. The historic pictures were great to explore as well as the newspaper articles.
The Summit is a 1906 grand hotel with all the trimmings associated with a historic bld.
If your thing is hanging around the grand lobby, sitting in front of the fireplace chatting with other guests, this place is for you. The rooms are what you would expect in an historic Inn. The rooms meet the needs, but the lobby, bar and restaurant is the place to hang out and soak up the beautiful architecture. Id return for a longer stay.
