"Wifi doesn't work in the rooms, TV very small, pool not usable and restaurant closed. The reason I give it a decent rating is that the area is just a halfway point from Joburg to the coast, and it's completely reasonable for a one night stay to break up the drive. Nothing fancy, but everything you need, and close to the supermarket/bottle shop/restaurants."

"I was pleasantly surprised during our last visit to the Hotel. We used it as a halfway stop on the way back from Kimberly. The front-of-house was very friendly, good vibe in the restaurant/pub and the food was very good. "We arrived in a heatwave and were very happy to find an air conditioner in the main bedroom but the second room had only a ceiling fan. The rooms were clean and well furnished with a fridge, kettle, makings of coffee. Plenty of water and ample hot water for the three of us. In future, I would choose to eat in Colesberg, about 5 Kilometers away. Safe parking was provided and our bicycle stayed on the car."
