"I had an extremely poor experience at easyHotel Ipswich and would not stay here again. Before arrival, I contacted the hotel to add my daughter to the booking but received no response. Instead, I was sent a generic reminder to bring ID, which I did (including my passport), yet no ID was even checked on arrival. We arrived at 9:30pm and were given a room that was not suitable for a family, despite my prior request. When I raised this at reception, I was told the hotel was fully booked and that...

"Took my partner away here we stayed here for 2 nights. On arrival staff was very welcoming and helpful. Parking here is expensive but if you park on Compair crescent which is near (5 min walk) by it’s a lot cheaper saved myself £15.00. Convience stores are very near for your essentials. 1 Lifts was working on day we arrived and other was out of order. Then the other lift went down so had to use stairs in end for rest of our stay,which was ok but on departure we had to carry everything up and...

"I stayed for one night the room was basic but clean with a tv microwave towels kettle and tea and coffee. The bed was not very comfortable and there was no shower gel provided plus only 1 toilet roll left. On the positive side it was a cost effective way to stay so close to the railway station and town centre. There was no breakfast option but I just took a porridge pot. I would stay again if it was available for say a football match for a night. If you are on a tight budget it’s perfect"

"Great friendly staff, nice touch for the kids... they were given a voucher ea to to choose beteen, a cold drink, a hot choc with marshmallowsor an ice-cream from the bar. Slso free fizzy drinks, crisps and kitkats in the mini-fridge in tge room were nice touches. The only downer for the hotel as a whole was that there was no air-conditioning in the bedroom or the bar area and so the environment was fairly hot and stuffy."

"It is not a hotel. It is a farmhouse converted into self-contained units, each with own bathroom. Rooms have fridge, microwave, toaster, cutlery and crockery. Linen and towels are provided but no food option - bring your own. A very good idea for a buget option in an expensive area. Plenty of parking and area for children and dogs to play outside. Surrounding area is beautiful with paths across the common to Walberswick and Southwold."
