"Lovely old hotel next to the river. Room was spacious and well appointed. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good parking. Restaurant and bar with riverside seating."

"Welcoming helpful staff. Late-Afternoon meal needed re-cooking after not being cooked to requested quality. On return to hotel after a theatre show, found the bar already closing at 22:20 - rather early. Room was basic but clean enough. Bathroom radiator was very tatty, spoiling otherwise clean bathroom."

"Great hotel for a stay by the beach. Dinner and drinks and breakfast outside watching the waves roll in was great. Comfy bed and nice clean room with great sea view. Most of the menu had gluten free options or was gluten free which is great as members of our family are unable to eat gluten. Parking was a bit of a challenge as the small carpark was full so we had to pay but it wasn't hugely expensive. Really relaxing stay. Would stay again for sure."

"The Swan Motel was amazing our room was glorious and the decor was stunning Our room was huge and the bed so comfy everything about this motel is superb from the staff the bar the food and the room We loved it so much we booked an extra night and we will definitely be bavk"

"We were greeted by very helpful & friendly staff and from the outside the hotel looked great. Sadly the decor inside the property left a to be desired with peeling paint work and thread bare carpets on the stail ways. Not the most encouraging introduction. The shower gel container was empty on arrival and the room was incorrectly made up on one occasion, set for single despite having been correctly attended to previously for us."

"Moved rooms after 1st night as mattress in room 1 was very poor quality. "

"The room was clean and tidy. Staff were very kind and helpful. Hotel is a bit rough but you get what you pay for, and yes we would stay there again."

"Radiator not working so room was cold, tap on bath rattling and water spurting out took ages to fill bath. Shared room with a dozen ladybirds..canteen downstairs never open. Unlocked and unsafe left luggage hall.i came fownstairs a few times about radiator in the night and noonf on reception rang number on desk but it wasnt regonised. Reception not manned at all times.. the room was big and lovely and location good."

"Bar was well stocked with what ever you required. There was not a beach view as it was on the street leading to the beach.The room was clean and compacted and the staff were very good and helpful."
