El Rancho Dolores Motel at Joshua Tree National Park

"The motel is decent, the room was nice and clean but it had a smell of a chemical cleaner. We haven't interacted with staff except for the front desk receptionist who was OK. The A/C unit was pretty loud and we had to turn it off for the sake of some sleep. Bathroom shower was super small and narrow making it almost impossible to use it if you are not a small framed person. Bonus was a cute kitchen with all necessities, so I give it a 4."

"Nice experience to stay at steppe houses (yurt). Basic needs was covered with intersting solutions. If you want to see a wonderful night sky full of stars and very quiet place, this resort is one of the best choices which we made here in US. But firstly, learn about this place and be ready to stay with true nature."

"It's an aged motel but the rooms are well kept, clean, comfortable and have character. Really nice pool and views of the desert. Apparently U2 stayed in room #4 when writing the album Joshua Tree - that's pretty cool and it was a good album. Just on the outskirts of 29 Palms so it's in a good location for a peaceful evening and night's sky. The staff member on duty was great and very helpful also the manager was nice and accommodating. Would recommend when staying in the area - only 10-15 minutes or so from Joshua Tree National Park entrance."

"The gentleman at the front desk was very sweet. The room was spacious, and clean, with a full size refrigerator. The bed was extremely comfortable! The bathroom could use an update. Very close to the park entrance."
