Unique hotel with nice rooms with balconies looking out to the main square. The rooms and bathrooms are little run down. For the price this hotel is excellent and is in a great location. Breakfast buffet is a typical MENA hotel breakfast; cheese, meats, salad and pastries.

I liked everything. Except that the air conditioning was not strong enough. It’s a hot country and we, tourists, would like to refresh in the cool air after exploring and experiencing the culture and it’s people.

AC in the room does not work well . I told the front desk but it is is still not fixed. The room temperature is 30 Celsius when we checked in . After 1 night the room temperature is at 28 Celsius! I hope it will fixed for the next guest.

We LOVED the stay at the Royal Victorian! The interior is gorgeous and intricately painted. It was our anniversary trip, and they laid rose petals and hearts with swan-shaped towels for us in our very clean room. We had a small balcony which overlooked the square which was lovely, and being just next to the Medina was perfect for what we wanted. Water and minifridge provided, tea and coffee, and if you want, room service. They also held our bags for the afternoon while we toured the city!

I’ve stayed twice and will say the rooms are ok and the breakfast is great. The location is excellent if you want to see “real Tunis” because if you walk three blocks away from the Medina the city gets more interesting

I stayed 2 nights in this wonderful hotel. The location is excellent, in Victoria Square where Avenue Habib Bourguiba meets with Tunis Medina through the gate of the city called Beb Bhar. The hotel itself is unique in decoration. Room view is outstanding, comfortable, all amenities available in toilet. Breakfast buffet is very nice, friendly staff and service.
