We loved this hotel and would definitely come back. Daily breakfast was included, the room was beautiful and spacious, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. You also can park your car for free in the underground parking garage. The only deterrents were that the walls seem thin and you can sometimes hear other guests, and the hotel plays very loud club beat music in the restaurant/pool area starting at 8:30 a.m. and lasting all day. Otherwise it was wonderful, and we will definitely return.

Restaurant, front desk and facility staff were the best around. Wyndham is very lucky to have such amazing staff. The pools are relaxing and beautiful and it's a great place to unwind if you are not looking to stay in the loud beachfront party scene. However, be aware that the walls are paper thin and the hotel A/C system is hit or miss. So bring ear plugs and make sure you check the a/c works in your room before settling in.

Food is bad, cheesecake was really hard. Food is expensive for the quality and price. Buffet is not very good either, better to eat out somewhere different. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The room with the pool, the water is cold, and turbins will work 7 pm only, then you have cold water, if you go in winter break don't take that room. Staff is kind and helpful

Wyndham Tulum A hidden gem

The Wyndham Tulum is beautiful and the staff outstanding. Myltha, the front desk manager goes above and beyond to make sure guests have a wonderful stay. Martin in the restaurant served our food with great care. It was delicious. Rent a scooter-ATV-bike--both town and beach are near by.

Room was great! You really feel the peace at this ressort, outside the main area and in the nature. Would recommend to stay. Points for improvement: More towels would be great (incl.small ones); bathrobes and slippers would be appreciated. Breakfast is not that varied and after 2 days you really feel the lack of variation. Also, flies flying around at the open stuff at breakfast (no one of the staff was really concerned about this).

Isolated enough to feel private but very close to the town center. I recommend renting a car but on cooler evenings it’s pretty easy to walk to convenience stores and there are plenty of taxis to take you to the center. The pools are all incredible and the staff are very helpful and kind and were quick to respond any issue that came up. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back.

Enjoyed our stay here. Worth the price. Clean and luxurious. Without a car, a taxi is basically needed to get anywhere. One-bedroom suite was spacious and fit our needs. Limited appliances and plates/utensils/glassware, but you can call the front desk and have it delivered from the common dining area. Breakfast included was great and made it easy. The place was quite empty, so had no problems finding space by the pool or in the dining area.

This will be a “love/hate” rating The staff was very friend and solved issues. But had to make them aware of upgrade. And the upgrade did not feel like an upgrade. See attached picture. New but feels unfinished Clean, new hotel with decent, spacious rooms, but it felt empty, unfurnished, and not fully finished. Service: The security guard was by far the most helpful and always happy to answer questions. Rooms: Spacious but lacking basics like sufficient towels and a fridge. Two free bottles of water daily were appreciated. Location: Walkable to restaurants (10 mins to main road), but the beach is a long, hot walk. The road outside is poorly lit at night and unpleasant to cross due to sewage smells. Transport: No beach shuttle, bikes, or umbrellas like other hotels, but bikes available from the main road if needed. Taxis are very expensive, which makes getting around frustrating. Facilities: Large gym and padel courts, though the gym also feels unfinished. Overall: Fine for a short stay thanks to being clean and new, but missing basic amenities you’d expect from a Wyndham.

Great property and price. I loved the fact that they had a family pool and adults-only pool. My daughter was about to have as much fun as she wanted, and the adult side seemed really nice! Small detail, but I stayed for 7 days and they didn't automatically refill the coffee station every day. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

Wyndham Tulum

This is a new property just opened in April 2025, and has been buit to a very high spec. The rooms are modern and each with private jacuzzi’s, with the suites super luxiorious with a kitchen and living room and very roomy. The swimming pool area has lots of loungers to relax after a swim, and has a dining area in the middle to order refreshments. The gym is fully equiped and excellent. 24 hr concerciege and free parking. Ivan, the manager, and his team are always readily available to help if you require anything. The cleaning staff are great and ensure rooms left pristine
